John offers clients a truly unique perspective, blending three decades of global capital markets experience in New York and London with a deep understanding of personal finance, retirement planning, and wealth management. His distinguished career began in Broker/Dealer Audit at Price Waterhouse and Internal Audit at Credit Suisse, which provided a foundational understanding of capital markets function and structure. He then moved into the fast-paced world of Global Foreign Exchange (FX) Trading at Barclays Capital in London. John developed specialized knowledge and expertise in FX markets at EBS/ICAP (now CME), and later drove trading platform, product, and market data innovation at State Street Global Markets, while consulting and collaborating with banks, brokers, hedge funds, and central banks across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
Following his successful career in the Global FX market, John took a career break to pursue his lifelong passion for deep-sea fishing off Montauk, where he commercially harvested Atlantic Lobster and pursued the majestic Giant North Atlantic Bluefin Tuna. While managing his own portfolio during this period, John recognized the opportunity to leverage his capital markets experience to transition full time into a client-focused, financial planning and investment advisory role. John recently passed the CFP® Exam and is committed to working with individuals and families, designing robust financial plans to meet his clients’ financial and retirement goals.
John earned a BBA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the London Business School. Outside of the office, John is an avid fisherman, golfer, distance runner, and a certified IPTPA Level 1 Pickleball Instructor. John resides in Montauk, Long Island, New York, and shares his life with Nichola, her daughter Darcy, and their sausage dog Luna.
