“My constant focus is the innovation of processes to fit the needs of my clients. My approach comes from the ethos of ‘planning first’ which leads to better overall performance.”
Thomas spent five years at the beginning of his career at a successful private placement limited partnership firm. He has been working with private clients since 2004 when he joined Merrill Lynch after graduating with highest honors from Georgetown University with an MBA degree.
“Living through 2008 made me realize the importance of independence and a focus on planning and not just investments. Money has a purpose- educating a child, protecting a lifestyle or providing stability during uncertain times. Very rarely is it to simply make more money. I became a Certified Financial Planner to gain a deeper understanding of the components of a client’s life that go well beyond investments and often have a greater impact on achieving one’s goals.”
Thomas holds the professional designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELORSM, as well as Life and Health Insurance Licenses.
